Exporting from ANZ.

About a minute, on ANZ's website. Berm has been tested on a file laid out like the one it gives you.

The steps

  1. Log on to ANZ Internet Banking and choose the account.
  2. Choose the export option above the transactions.
  3. Choose a start and end date.
  4. Choose CSV and export.

The file has no header row, just the transactions. Berm works out which column is which from what is in them.

What the file holds

  • One amount column: money out is negative.
  • Dates day first (13/08/2026).
  • No running balance, so Berm asks for your balance once, on a slider.

Then

Open Berm and choose the file on the Import card. It is read on your device and never uploaded; Berm says what it found in each column before anything is added, and importing the same file twice changes nothing.
