Support

One place for all of it.

Help, a bug, a feature you want, or anything else. Berm is in pre-launch and free to use, which is a way of saying the shape of it is still being decided — so what you send here genuinely moves it.

What is this about?

Specific beats polite. The projection ignored my second paycheck is worth more than the projection seems off.

Only if you want an answer. Leave it empty and this is anonymous: nothing else about you is recorded, including your address.

Or email support@berm.money, which reaches the same people. Better if you want to attach something or keep a copy of what you sent — worse if you would rather stay anonymous, because an email carries your address whether or not you meant it to. The form does not.

What happens to it

What is recorded is what you typed, and when. Not your address, not a fingerprint, not which pages you read first. It is stored on Berm's own server and read by us; no third party is involved and this page sets no cookie. Leave the contact field empty and there is nothing stored that says who you are. The privacy page says the same at more length.

Please keep your own figures out of it. This form is the one part of Berm that is not encrypted on your device, and it could not be — a message nobody can read is not a support request. Describe what went wrong rather than what you earn.

A message sent here is not attached to your account. That is deliberate — the contact field is optional, so this form can be used without identifying yourself at all. It has one consequence worth saying rather than leaving people to assume: deleting your account cannot reach these messages, because nothing links them to it. Ask us and we will remove them.

Two things that come up often

Opening the app on your phone and finding it empty. An installed app gets its own storage, separate from the browser tab's, so it starts with nothing in it. Nothing is lost: sign in there with the same account and restore, and your data comes back from the encrypted copy.

A forgotten password. Nobody can reset it for you: nothing on the server can read your data, so nothing on the server can let you back in, and we cannot recover it either. Your recovery code still opens it, on any device, and the app then asks you to choose a new password. An enrolled passkey opens it too. A backup file needs the password it was made with.
