Exporting from NAB.
About a minute, on NAB's website. Berm has been tested on a file laid out like the one it gives you.
The steps
- Log in to NAB Internet Banking.
- Open the Accounts menu and choose Transaction history.
- Choose the account and the dates.
- Choose Export, and the spreadsheet (CSV) option.
How far back: Up to two years of transactions.
What the file holds
- One amount column: money out is negative.
- Dates the day, the month in words and a two-digit year (13 Aug 26).
- A running balance, so Berm reads your balance from the file itself.
Then
Open Berm and choose the file on the Import card. It is read on your device and never uploaded; Berm says what it found in each column before anything is added, and importing the same file twice changes nothing.
