Exporting from SoFi.
About a minute, on SoFi's website. Berm has been tested on a file laid out like the one it gives you.
The steps
- Sign in at sofi.com in a web browser. The SoFi app cannot export.
- Choose the Banking tab, then your account.
- Choose the gear icon, then Export Transactions.
- Pick the dates and choose Export.
How far back: From when the account was opened, at most two years in one file.
What the file holds
- One amount column: money out is negative.
- Dates year first (2026-08-13).
- No running balance, so Berm asks for your balance once, on a slider.
Then
Open Berm and choose the file on the Import card. It is read on your device and never uploaded; Berm says what it found in each column before anything is added, and importing the same file twice changes nothing.
