Exporting from Truist.
About a minute, on Truist's website. Berm has been tested on a file laid out like the one it gives you.
The steps
- Sign in at truist.com and open your checking account.
- Choose Download, near the top of the transactions.
- Pick the last 30 or 60 days, or a range of dates.
- Leave the file type on CSV and choose Download.
What the file holds
- One amount column: money out is in brackets, like ($12.34).
- Dates month first (08/13/2026).
- A running balance, so Berm reads your balance from the file itself.
Then
Open Berm and choose the file on the Import card. It is read on your device and never uploaded; Berm says what it found in each column before anything is added, and importing the same file twice changes nothing.
