Exporting from USAA.
About a minute, on USAA's website. Berm has been tested on a file laid out like the one it gives you.
The steps
- Sign in at usaa.com and open your checking account.
- Choose Export on the transactions page.
- Pick the dates, and CSV.
- Choose Export and save the file.
The file lists pending payments and scheduled bill payments too, some of them dated ahead. Berm leaves those out; the export after they go through brings them in.
What the file holds
- One amount column: money out is negative.
- Dates year first (2026-08-13).
- No running balance, so Berm asks for your balance once, on a slider.
Then
Open Berm and choose the file on the Import card. It is read on your device and never uploaded; Berm says what it found in each column before anything is added, and importing the same file twice changes nothing.
