Exporting from Wells Fargo.
About a minute, on Wells Fargo's website. Berm has been tested on a file laid out like the one it gives you.
The steps
- Sign in at wellsfargo.com and choose your checking account.
- Open Download Account Activity.
- Check the From and To dates.
- Choose Comma Delimited (ASCII, Spreadsheet).
- Choose Download and save the file.
How far back: The last 90 days to begin with; some accounts go back as far as 18 months.
The file has no header row, just the transactions. Berm works out which column is which from what is in them.
What the file holds
- One amount column: money out is negative.
- Dates month first (08/13/2026).
- No running balance, so Berm asks for your balance once, on a slider.
Then
Open Berm and choose the file on the Import card. It is read on your device and never uploaded; Berm says what it found in each column before anything is added, and importing the same file twice changes nothing.
